COVID-19 Micro and Small Business – Border Closure Critical Support Grant

The COVD-19 Micro and Small Business – Border Closure Critical Support Grant is Open for One More Week

Has your business suffered a significant drop in turnover as a direct result of:

  • Border restrictions due to decreased visitor numbers and/or
  • A reduction in the ability to provide, sell or import goods and services?

The State Government currently has a grant round open to provide support to our small and micro business sector that has been impacted by the border closures.

To be eligible for the grant a business must have a minimum turnover of $25,000 and be able to show that as a direct consequence of the lock-downs and border restrictions, they have experienced a reduction in turnover of at least 30% for a minimum consecutive two-week period.

To see some examples on how to calculate this or to find out more about the grant and how to apply, head to Business Tasmania’s website.

Applications are OPEN for One More Week!

Closing date is 2pm on Friday 8 October 2021.
